Here's a fun fold I haven't done in ages: The Drapery Fold. Helps use up a third of a sheet of patterned paper as you start with 4 inches by 12 inches. You'll want to pick a sheet where the pattern on both sides compliment one another as this fold shows off both sides.
Measurements:
- Cardbase: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; score in the middle and burnish
- Hydrangea Hue layer: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
- Patterned Paper for the drapery fold: 4" x 11 1/2"
- Score along the 11 1/2" side at: 3", 4", 6", 7", 9" and 10"
- On the right side (where the 10" score line is), mark down at 1" from the top with a pencil.
- Cut from the pencil mark to the left 3" score line
- Fold accordion style (back and forth).
- From the short end (the end where your pencil mark is, cut off 1/4"
Thanks for stopping by!
