Faux Silk Technique

Do you watch my Technique Tuesdays? I'll bet you were wondering what happened to me on Nov 16 then? That week was a whirlwind for loads of reasons so Technique happened on Thurs, Nov 18. Here's the card I made featuring the Faux Silk Technique:

What great texture and washed out look it gave to the stamped leaves behind. And all with a little crumpled up white tissue paper and a glue stick. Yep - super easy and had all the stuff at home to do it!

November 9, 2021 - Angled Wrap Fun Fold Card

For Technique Tuesday this week, I demonstrated how to make this cute Angled Wrap fun fold card. I received the original in the mail from  Leanne Livingstone in Kindersley, Saskatchewan. Don't you just love it?

Here are the two I made tonight during my Facebook Live. Aren't these great?!? And really very easy to do. A few simple cuts and you're there.

Every Tuesday at 6p ET I share a different technique or fun fold card. This week I featured stamping on Cork Specialty Paper. Note: This isn't on cork coasters which are thicker and require other stamping tools - but on our beautiful 2 sheet pack for $10.25. 

The card features the Very Versailles Stamp Set and the Nature's Harvest Stamp Set and a few techniques, actually: Collage stamping, stamping "off", stamping on cork and distressing with scissors. What a jam packed card for you!
