I created this card in honour of my friend, Brett Ridgeway. Brett loved daisies, simple card layouts and pink so Melon Mambo quickly came to mind. The die and greeting are from the Cheerful Daisies set. This was a "don't over think it" card with an embossed background using the Fern 3D folder and the daisies die cut in white with no stamping popped up with Mini Stampin' dimensionals. We send cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and the like but sending "just a note" can really brighten up someone's day! Easy layout here with the pattern paper cut at 1" along the left side and 2" off the top then pieced back together on a coordinating background of Summer Splash cardstock. This card features four of the 2024-2026 In Colors: Pretty In Pink, Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash. Happy Hump Day!

The Unbounded Beauty DSP pack shows them off and today's card from Lisa Henderson gives you a look at them in action: Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock, Pretty in Pink, and Petunia Pop. Other patterns feature Peach Pie. You know that 2" strip you have left over after cutting your patterned paper? Use two of them here with a strip of cardstock covering any open space between them. Add a greeting, some embellies and you're done!
Combining many of our beautiful new patterned papers, Desiree Spenst designed this beautiful card I am so happy to share with you today! The Thoughtful Journey DSP coordinates beautifully with the matching stamp set and dies from the Thoughtful Wishes bundle. In fact that suite has a second patterned paper pack featured earlier this week on Lisa Henderson's card, Thoughtful Designs. A little stamping in the matching Pretty Peacock ink onto the DSP really shows it off. The cardbase looks different, right? It's a new Basic Colour called Basic Beige. New stamp? New Patterned Paper? Nope! Just a new way of looking at it all. I stamped these cute pooches from the Doggone Friendly background stamp and cut the top part of the stamping off then cut a straight line across the bottom. They're adorable! The embossing is the Painted Texture 3D and if you don't have it - well you need it. So versatile on many layouts. Interesting colour combo for me for this time of year: Pool Party. Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler. Who uses Cherry Cobbler in the summer? Enjoy!
A fairly "monochromatic" card with a little splace of Soft Sea Foam and Highland Heater. This bundle, Irresistible Blooms, is still available on our Online Exclusives. A perfect bundle in my opinion as it has greetings, images and unique die cuts like the circle shown here. I cut my white to 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and die cut the circle out of it leaving that nice border around. Gotta have some embossing behind it, too. Added a few iridescent pearls for a sparkle. How did I get that gorgeous purple baker's twine? I just grabbed my hand Highland Heather Stampin' Blends to add colour to the twine. A great use for your blends beyond colouring in images. Try it on ribbon, too!
Ya'll know how I love birds. This sweet one has such texture from the ribbon to the embossed ledge, flowers and leaf die cuts with extra cuts in them for dimension. Created by Marcy Dennning for our Silver Sister Swap. Could you duplicate this with what you have at home? I see using this layout for an upcoming monthly card class, too!

For the biggest month for weddings, featuring this in-love pair of walruses. Created by my friend Dana Hancock for our Canadian Business Builders Swap this catalogue, featuring another new In-Color, Summer Splash on the ribbon, card base and stamping of the word "Love". So sweet.
Are the Zinnias popping up in your garden yet? They are on today's card! The contrast of the soft pinks and varigated leaves against the white layer on a Blackberry Bliss card base is striking. To get that greeting on the embossed layer, I stamped it first - it's from the stamp set Rustic Crate, by the way - then embossed the layer with the coordinating Zinnia 3D folder. The patterned paper is so gorgeous I want to use it to its fullest so I die cut the circle out from a scrap end. Don't let those scraps go to waste!
How about a Pretty in Pink card for a Sunday! This is a new "In-Color" but it's not really new...in fact when I joined Stampin' Up! almost 14 years ago this was considered a pastel colour in with all the Subtles. Received from my "sister", Tamara Bertram in Edmonton for our 2024 New Catalogue swap. I love these die cut white butterflies. This is the Seaside Wishes Bundle complete with stamp set, embossing folder and dies! Sweet deal and this month is sweeter: Now til June 30 Bundles are an extra 10% off. you can get this one for $58.25. To create ths beauty, I added ink to the inside of the embossng folder - a different colour on each of the sand dollars with a blending brush. Then embossed it onto white cardstock. added a few stamped and die cut starfish in Pecan Pie and a greeting from the set. Lovely effect!
Two of my favourite products on today's card: Exposed Brick embossing folder and the Wanted to Say word dies for the word "Celebrate". The rest is so easy to decorate with a 2" x 4" strip of patterned paper matted and some ribbon. Love a simple layout!

Scenic patterned papers go the extra mile on a card leaving little need for extra embellishing but I did sneak a gold bird in there for effect! The stamp is one phrase "Happy Birthday" and after stamping I cut it in half then popped it up on some angles for more dimension. Have you played with the Meandering Meadows patterned paper yet? Sneak Peek of my June Avid Stampers class featuring the Country Birdhouse bundle. Look at that darling popping its head out the peep hole! This Suite has some gorgeous patterned papers in pinks, blues and greys. I used one to die cut out the birdhouse. Topped t off with some flowers and 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems and the birdhouse on a pedestal. Enjoy!
Made this card for an event on Saturday. It's called the Puzzle Slider card. This one has 8 segments that when "closed" those dark pink squares will close up and it fits right into a regular envelope for mailing. Took a bit of time to figure out the math for the layer, sbut loves how it turned out! That butterfly is a paper accent that I added Pink Petunia ink to with a Blending Brush. Just flies off the page!
One of the cards from my June monthly card class. The goal was to make a simple card with the decidedly "autumn" stamp set called Autumn Leaves that doesn't have a "fall" feel. I opted for Boho Blue, Peach Pie and Copper Clay. My first monthly class was mostly new stampers and they found this one easy to make - mission accomplished!
When I saw this zig-zag die from Everyday Details I was sold on them! This would work so well on scrapbook and 3D projects as well for texture. The flowers are from Hooray for Surprises - a bundle for pull tab cards - but such a great size. What do you think - are they from the Daisy family? I see that in them but with a different look in Smoky Slate and Moody Mauve. Love this card!

Multiple layers on today's card with two shades of pink on a crumb cake base, die cuts and embossing. The Eyelet 3D embossing folder is a new one this year and quite defined. I like the floral look together with the punched out leaves. These dies are the Everday Details Dies. Hope you like all the dimension going on here!
Taking a large pattern and chopping it up into segments then piecing it back together is on coordinating cardstock is a way to make it all come to life! This time there's a greeting in the 3rd position for a little switch up. Give this quick card a try - just cut your patterned paper to 1" strips horizontally for the wow!
I've thoroughly enjoyed making cards with Loveliest Tree and today with non-earthtones. On the black, I stamped one of the stamps with versamark to create a textured background. Pulled in the Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends Markers to add colour to the Vanilla/Black check ribbon to complement sponging on the stamped tree. It's fun to work with non-traditional colours and bring it to life!
Isn't this stunning? A multi-layered card from Deb Duval highlighting the new Peach Pie In Color with Smoky Slate. The patterned paper is attached to the left of the white layer and then embossed afterwards - cool effect!
Today's colourful card was sent to me by Kristen Hancock in our recent Canadian Business Builders Swap. A nice way to show off your favourite patterned papers - especially when you can't decide which one to use - just use up those scraps! Boy our stamps sure give crisp inked images! You can really see it on this scene card with the trees, flowers and the truck. Almost looks painted on. Love this sentiment of how every day IS a fresh start. Enjoy your day!
Here's a fun fold card made with the Deckled Circles - or any large circle dies in your stash. I used the largest one and scored it in half for my cardbase. Then I cut a circle one size smaller out of patterned paper (cut it in half) and added to the front. I used three additional circles from the set to stamp and layer the flowers together. My stamp set of choice here was the Cutest Cows because as the name suggests - they're awesome for today's card. Enjoy!
