It's wonderful to send cards of all kinds but I think Thank Yous are overlooked. Sharing a random act of kindness is so appreciated these days while we are living busy and over stretched lives. Super sweet and simple card layout for birthdays! Grab that matching patterned paper and cut yourself a 2" x 5 1/2" strip then a 3" x 3" square that's matted onto a piece of 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" matching cardstock. Coordinate with a card base and ink, slap on some embellishments and call it done. This one came together in a flash!

Collage Stamping the A Day to Celebrate Birthday Card

Wasn't quite sure what I'd do with these little swirly stamps then it came to me: collage stamp them in various colours. I love how it turned out! Such a bright, bold and fresh card for upcoming celebrations. I used Summer Splash, Melon Mambo, Peach Pie and Night of Navy as my colour palette with the Basic Black layer to help it all pop off the front of the card. It screamed...heat emboss the greeting... so that's where we landed for the All Day Your Way sentiment. What fun!

Was looking for some ways to use this corner floral spray and the Starstruck embossing folder thus this card was born! Before you ask, yes it's totally OK to emboss a full on layer and another piece like the punch shape in Lemon Lolly here with the same folder. I like how it's the same pattern vs too busy with more than one embossed pattern. This card features a bunch of the soon-to-be-gone Sale-a-Bration products; Corner in Bloom stamp set for the flowers, A Day to Celebrate stamp set for the greeting and the lovely Starstruck Embossing Folder. Terrific Toadstools and it's matchin Toadstool Garden DSP

Catching back up on daily posts...it's been a busy Sale-a-Bration month and I've fallen behind on sharing. Up today is a swap card from Jane on my team with the Terrific Toadstools stamp set and punch bundle. What a cute toadstool....are you being taken back to your days of being in the Guiding movement? The 7-8 year old age group was renamed "Embers" to be more inclusive and wow do I remember going to Christ Church around the corner from my home to attend weekly meetings and work on badges all while dancing around the toadstool. But I digress....this cute card ties back to the free Sale-a-Bration DSP called Toadstool Gardens and they really work very well together! Thanks, Jane.

Swap Card featuring Corner Blooms

Here's my swap card from our Team Stampin' Social last week. The stamp is from Corner Blooms and wow - great for colouring with your favourite medium. For me that's the Stampin' Blends. They glide on so smoothly with either the brush tip for larger areas or the bullet tip for thinner/smaller ones. This petal pink ribbon is so soft to the touch and pliable for tying in a bow or in this care layering a section behind the greeting. I find the Eyelet emboss folder a timeless background layer for all occasions. What do you think?

Document the Day for Scrapbooking Layouts

Love this big set of greeting in the Document the Day stamp set from Sale-a-Bration. I was drawn to getting it specifically for memory keeping as it will be perfect for activities I'm scrapbooking. We made this card for my Team Stampin' Social this week using up 3/4" and 1" cast off strips. Such a bright and colourful card for any day!

Oh Happy Day with Sale-a-Bration Freebies Corner Blooms

Oh my what a simple card that looks like you spent hours making it! The stamp is Corner Blooms a free Sale-a-Bration product coloured in Moody Mauve and Lost Lagoon on a layer of Basic White measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Pick a Season in Boho Blue

I participate in a monthly tutorial group called the TLC Tutorial Co-operative. We each make a cute card and put together a PDF of our creations with instructions on how to make our cards. And....it's free! Every month when you place an order with me or attend my class, you get the bundle by email. This was my card from January featuring the Pick a Season stamp set in Boho Blue for the flowers and dark Mossy Meadow for the leaves. It gave me a chance to use up some of the Countryside Inn patterned paper and blue ribbon. Pleased as punch with how it turned out!

Frosted Forest Bundle: Thinking of You

Today's card is from the Frosted Forest Bundle with stamps, dies and decorative masks! I love the die cut trees on the background - 2 sets were die cut and connected. Then in the middle is a tree made up from 3 die cuts. To adhere them together easily, add adhesive sheets to the cardstock before cutting. Then no messy glue to get those intricate designs glued down.

Forever Plaid Background Stamping

Nope...it's not neutral patterned paper. It's a background stamp! Did you know you can make your own patterns with these great stamps? We carry a number of them from Doggone Friendly to Botanical Beauty. This is the Forever Plaid and it makes a great layer on which to put pretty much any stamped greeting or die cut. It's one full stamp and takes the ink beautifully. I stamped some of it on Petal Pink cardstock, too, and punched those flowers out. Neat effect.

Stunning Layers of Beauty Card

 A pretty special over the top card sending love in the mail. This large floral spray is from the Layers of Beauty bundle which has lots of colouring options that I did some "pick and choose" on . I wanted the flowers to show off as white so just colours some of the flower centres and the leaves. Behind it I tacked from Night of Navy leaf sprigs from the coordinating dies. To get your greeting on an embossed layer, stamp first then emboss the layer or cardfront as I've done here. Stunning!

Beautiful Butterflies meets Linked Together Dies

Pairing the Lattice from Linked Together dies and this gorgeous big butterfly. Use your sponge tools or Blending Brushes to add ink to plain white cardstock in varigated patterns to add life to your butterfly die cut. The leaf sprigs are from the Linked Together bundle, too. You can see why it's a favourite of mine, right! Use it all the time now.

Corners in Bloom for edge to edge beauty

Corner to corner goodness today! This is the Corners in Bloom stamp set - free during Sale-a-Bration. If colouring is your bag, this is for you! I made this card as one of the four in my team tutorial. Suitable with any floral spray in your stamp collection with layered card pieces in Basic White on Flirty Flamingo on the Lemon Lime Twist cardbase. I added a double layered label for my greeting (from to So Sincere stamp set and some ribbon to show it off. Just needed a few basic rhinestones at the bottom to finish it off.

Linked Together with Poppy Parade, Lemon Lime Twist and Black

The Linked Together Bundle is one of my faves from this new Mini Catalogue. The greetings are large and cheery, the flowers come in two sizes and have multiples of each in the set making it so quick and easy to put these together. And the lattic piece (white on black shown here)...oh it's perfect! I used Poppy Parade, Black, Whitei and Lemon Lime Twist for this pop of brightness for a winter day. Enjoy!

Stunning Encircled in Nature card

 This scenic paper is something we come out with every season and it's just stunning as a full layer backdrop. I used the wreath from Encircled with Nature (an online exclusive in case you didn't know we had it available!). I just adore the greeting - perfect on the mini calendar holders I handed out this year as well as on birthday cards.

Corners in Boho Bloom

Had a play with the Corners in Bloom free stamp set for my Team Tutorial this month and so pleased with how this one turned out: Boho Blue, Lemon Lolly and Granny Apple Green colour palette. If you like to colour, whatever the medium you use, this is a great free choice during Sale-a-Bration. The embossing folder on this card is also a free choice. Free is my favourite choice!
