Oh how fun! The aliens have landed. It's the Flying By stamp set with cute dotted greetngs for our favourite outer space fan. I was drawn to using Real Red, Basic Black and Basic White with some heat embossng for a shiny touch. Comes together pretty quickly so it's ready to pop into the mail. So stinkin' cute!
Ooh la la! Such a versatile bundle of products that at first blush, I wasn't sure I needed it. Trust me...I'm glad I got it! The lattice die is cut twice and layered onto the same colour cardstock for so much depth. Then those leaves and flowers in Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, Peach Pie and Coastal Cabana pop right off the page. Tell me what you think! The flowers come with multiples on one die - makes putting your card together super quick. Love it!
Way too easy a card - but my monthly card class ladies are gonna love the simplicity! So duplicatable with any paper in your stash. Grab a circle punch or die (2" used here) and punch several coordinating patterns. Layer them onto an embossed layer and pop a greeting on top. I layered one circle with a slightly larger sized circle (2 3/8"). The embossing folder is Fern 3D and goes with literally everything. Give it a go!
My first play with a new bundle, Hugs for Love. I'm liking this funky shaped punch - very much different from the others in my stash. The stamped image is right within the boundaries of the punched shape for a great way to up the game on it. The hearts were stamped off first, to add a very subtle look to the card. The colours chosen came from the Timeless Plaid background layer: Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive. The smaller hearts are full strength and the larger one 2nd generation stamping. Love how this turned out!
Sharing one of the two treat holder/6" x 6" paper pack holder I created for the SSS Super Team Event yesterday! We had a great turn out with some amazing women teaching us their favourite projects from over the top fun folds, secret pop up cards, memory keeping tips and more. What a great day! I'm blessed to be a part of this amazing group of "Sisters". We made a version of this at my January Elmira Community Living class. All 13 participants loved it!

Oh what a Happy Day! Today I'm doing an all day crafting event with my Silver Sisters for our collective 300+ team members! All online and great fun. We each take a 1 hour time slot and share some of our favourite products, techniques, fun folds and 3D projects from the newly launched Mini catalogue. I'll share my project with you in the coming week, but for today I have a card from my Team Stampin' Social that you could so very easily duplicate with whatever is in your stash.
Do you recognize this embossing folder? It's a new one from Sale-a-Bration called Starstruck. Very versatile as a background for many of your all occasion cards. The Happy Birthday is a nice sized die cut on a Lemon Lolly circle with a few leaves and flowers for decoration. No stamping on this card!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner - do you make/share Valentine cards with family and friends? I still make them for my grown children and now my grandson. Along with a little treat to celebrate! This tree stamp is the Pick a Season - a free Sale-a-Bration choice with minimum $75 order. I've paired the tree with the Bee My Valentine stamp set but you could leave that off or use any other greeting, too. Love how it turned out for my team Stampin' Social card earlier this month.
I had some blending fun with the Linked Together Decorative Masks. These magical tools are laid down on a piece of cardstock then with a Blending Brush, add ink in varying depth of colour and tones to create a cool background! This set of masks is a 5 pack and they do work together so you can use one colour for one pattern then add a second over top. The alternative to colouring with a great result!
Such great dimension on today's card from the Changing Leaves Hybrid embossing folder. What's a Hybrid EF? That's where the embossing folder has a corresponding die that cuts out all the images in one pass. They also - in my opinion - providee amazing texture for your cards and paper crafting projects. We have various hybrid embossing folders to choose from at the moment: Butterflies, Greetings, Sea Shells, Hearts and Hibiscus flowers. What great choices!
You may have seen me post about the Global Inspiration Stamp Team events for my customers and team members...if you're not a shopping customer, what's ya waiting for ?! The next event is March 22-23 and you'll not want to miss what we're doing. Here's the project I shared with the group on January 11... a post-it note pad holder with a spot for a mini calendar. Love that this is a project I will have on my desk (both desks...so I've made 2) all year long. There's a spot for a pen or pencil, too. Perfectly contained pragmatic project. That's my kind of item!
Oh this Peter Rabbit wannabe is so sweet! Our Storybook Friends bundle is ideal for Spring and Easter crafting pursuits - whether it's cards, scrapbook pages, 3d items or wall art, we've got it covered. The Eyelet embossing folder goes so well as a layer on which to build the focal point. Love that "Some bunny loves you" greeting for sending a thinking of you card to friends and family. This card has happiness all over it!
Rounding out swaps from January, Stacey made this card using the Tiled Techniques stamp set in various colours to complement the free Sale-a-Bration paper layer behind it. Looks like a greeting is missing, right? That was her plan...to give us a card we could customize as needed. I like that Stacey took that into consideration for us! If like me you keep a batch of stamped greetings around "just in case"...then you'll be all set to pair it up with cards like this.
So stinkin' cute birthday card for anyone featuring the Darling Dinos bundle. This card was made by Laurie on my team for our monthly card stwap. Before embossing, she randomly stamped the Fresh Freesia layer then used the Starstruck embossing folder for loads of amazing dimension. Simple, sweet, card for the little dinosaur in your life!
One of the first bundles I ordered from the new Mini Catalogue was this one: Linked Together. There's a stamp set, dies AND deocrative masks. I'm grabbing my blending brushes and inks and have a great time adding the ink through the masks. You don't have to worry about doing it all the same depth of colour - in fact, varigated is more artistic - and I would recommend not even going for adding the colour on the entire panel of white. Having various tones really adds depth and texture to the card. I then stamped the greeting in a darker purple (Gorgeous Grape) to it really stands out and added some smaller flowers for effect. Love it!
Love to colour? Then Mixed Florals Bundle was designed with you in mind! Images with corresponding dies that will take your floral cards to the next level. I love how these cover the front of your card! The embossing folder backdrop is from the Friends of the Ocean Suite and it goes with everything. That one's on my next order for sure! I made this card! My swap from our Team Stampin' Social last week. The panels really show off the gorgeous Bloom Impressions free paper pack during Sale-a-Bration. And the front layer boasts the Eyelet 3D embossing folder with a butterfly in Peach Pie from another favourite of mine, the Beautiful Butterflies. You had me at butterflies...Whatever you're celebrating, this card is perfect!

Playing with some of the new Mini Catalogue product and FREE Sale-a-Bration patterned papers! We made this card at my Team Stampin' Social this week and I just love the layout! Use any shape you have (Spotlight on Nature Dies used here) for the stamping of your focal image, pop a few strips of patterned paper behind and layer onto an embossed matte. And...card done! Such a beautiful floral spray with loads of texture and dimension! How is this achieved? It's all in the Decorative Masks that you add ink through in layers. There's a die for it, too! The Layers of Beauty is one fantastic bundle for making stunning floral cards. There's versatility, too. If you want to stamp and colour it in with your preferred colouring medium, go for it! Lots to love about this amazing bundle.
A sweet bird popping by to say Thinking of You. The Winterly Treetops bundle has this single and a single and double bird stamps with coordinating dies for any occasion cards. Use the dies on the matching patterned paper to cut out already coloured images. So cute!
A no stamping card: The "Want to Say" dies are perfect for birthdays and celebrations. The flowers and leaves are from the bough punch which is a staple in my craft stash making it so easy to add these to a card. If you know your embossing folders, that's a new one on the Crumb Cake layer called Starstruck - a freebie during Sale-a-Bration starting January 7. Love this layout!
The Jan to April Mini launches next week but in the meantime I've been playing with some products new in my stash that I haven't even inked up yet! This one is the Layers of Beauty Bundle with this stunning large floral image, dies and a set of decorative masks. Watch for more to come featuring those! This is just the beautiful pop of colour needed in our grey-skied, snowy day!

What does your January 1st look like? Will you be recouperating from NYE? Will you be getting together with family/friends to celebrate and kick off the new year? Will you be having a quiet day at home? For me, it's the latter. Alec is still away at his overnight with friends; Craig is sleeping in. Once I get the turkey soup started, I'm heading down to my craft space to throw a log on the fire, make some cards, and enjoy some quiet music in my new PJs. I'm more of a night time than day time crafter so this is a special treat!
