The Light the Year bundle was one of the first ones I had to have from the Fall Mini Catalogue. Why? I really love all the references to "bright", "light" and "love" which is so needed in the world right now. Here are two of the cards we made in my Avid Stampers class featuring this Bundle and which turned out beautifully. Lots of layers with the acrons, leaves and lanterns. Enjoy!

Snowy Wonder Scene Cards
Two whimsical holiday cards today featuring the Snowy Scenes patterned paper with very different layouts: one has a large greeting on label from the Greetings of the Season dies. This bundle is available in our Online Exclusives section with it. And the second is a shaker card made the super easy way with one of our clear envelopes and the snowflake embellishments floating inside! Makes a great scene card as well! A reminder the Snowy Wonder Bundle (those great images in the scene with their dies) is on the Last Chance list so grab it while we still have supply!

I was going through my holiday cards and noticed...I have so many to share and only so many days left to share them. So I'm stepping it up and posting two per day!

3D Wreath using Sweetest Star
In addition to a beautiful card, Stacey gifted us each this wreath made with the Sweetest Star punch! The punch gives you these 5 sided shapes and then you score each to make them mountains and valleys for a cool 3D effect. Stacey's husband used his 3D printer to create the base onto which the wrathe pieces were added. Makes a beautiful tree or hanging ornament for the festive season.

Hang an Ornament Non-Traditional Colours Card
Double purpose with today's card: first this was my card for the November Shoebox Swap and then I am using it later today at a crafting session with the leadership team as part of our year end team building party. I loved using the Hang an Ornament stamp set and dies for this card. Sorry to see them go to the Last Chance List. A really great price point so if it's still there, grab it! My card also features the Forever Plaid embossing folder and some oh-so-sparkly ribbon. This was a hit last week and I'm hoping for the same today!

Country Woods card for any season of wonder
Would you think this is a holiday card or something for spring? The greenery could go either way. Jane designed this card for us to make at the Shoebox Swap last month and gave us lots of options for the patterned paper on the front of the card from the Country Woods collection. The greeting can also be suitable to many occasions throughout the year. Great card, Jane!

Sweetly Scripted Birthday Card
Wendy's Shoebox Card was decidedly non-Christmas and a perfect change for our creative minds! This layout is a breeze! Cut a rectangle and slice it in half on the diagonal. Cut your matte to 1/4" taller and wider than your patterned paper and slice it on a diagonal, too. They match beautifully! Sweetly Scripted greetings fit perfectly down the centre. Such a pretty card!

A very Regal Card with Regal Winter and Christmas Labels
Stacey's card from our November Shoebox has a fun fold edge with the DSP for a unique way of up-styling your card. With rich Regal colours this card was a hit! The greeting is from the Christmas Labels bundle which has been quite popular this year and is continuing to be available after the close of this catalogue! Yeah for those of you who start your Christmas cards in January. Can you come over to my house and help me do that?

Humble Home Christmas Greetings
Today I'm sharing Holly's card from our Shoebox Swap in November. The Humble Home stamp set and punch bundle is so versatile! Use it for Christmas, welcome to the neighbourhood, thank you, birthday, welcome home...just right for many occasions! On this one we heat embossed white emboss powder for the house and punched it out. No colouring required. Such a great Christmas greeting card!

Spotlight on Nature in Boho Blue
What a beautiful card designed by my team member and friend Laurie for our November 30 Shoebox Swap. There were 7 of us together at Wendy's home for an afternoon of crafting. This card features the you-just-gotta-have-it bundle Spotlight on Nature stamp set and dies. You'll use those dies all the time! I think this will make a perfect project for monthly card class in the new year, right?

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Another holiday card I made for the Holly Market at Trinity Church this year! So festive with the candy canes and berries and a big greeting on the front. To get your ribbon to flow behind the circle, add some tape runner adhesive and set the ribbon in a zig-zag pattern over top. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up on your card. A stitched circle is the way to go for adding a little extra to the card. Enjoy!

Sentimental Christmas Paper
Oh Christmas Tree! How lovely to see these lit up and providing light in these shorter days. I remember when my kids were little and our childcare provider had a tree with battery operated candles on them a throw back to the original time when they would put real lighted candles on the branches. Very pretty!

Light Up Your Year Card
Great little Christmas Card - too bad we can't mail them out this year! Handed out about a dozen last night to my sisters at our Sorority Christmas Dinner and they were really well received. Quick and easy design with one greeting, a couple of layers and some embossing to add dimension. Bam! Done! How many will you have out this year?

Wreath card with Light the Year Bundle
Love a Christmas wreath card and oh so easy with pretty much any leaf stamp! I used the one from the Light the Year bundle in our Sep-Dec Mini catalogue. Eight images stmaped and die cut are laid onto a circle frame (cut two circles to create the frame) which is hidden. Add your greenery, embellishments and sentiment and just like that - done! I know we're not mailing cards yet here in Canada, but this one's ready to go once we are!
